I cannot believe we’ve already been living here, in Greenwich, for 2 years!
And still loving it 🙂
I took so many photos, I met so many nice and interesting people, I walked around so many times. I am continuously fascinated by its views, colours, people and history. We found here so much more than we expected! I never get bored of walking around and I always find someone to talk to. We found such a diverse and creative community here, both online and offline. We found a great Market with very unique shops and people. We found a very active online community that loves and cares for Greenwich and the places around. We found lots of nice cafes, restaurants and pubs. We even learned to live without having big shopping centres around! I can’t even imagine now how it would be to live without having the ORNC, the Observatory, the Park, the Market and the Thames Walk anymore! Hopefully, that won’t happen…
I wanted to post here some of my favourite places and moments captured since we moved to Greenwich. That’s a very hard job, considering the thousands of photos I’ve been taking! I’ll try…
I’ll start with some of my favourite viewing points:
Then, there are the sunsets! So many colours and cloud patterns!
And then there are the many unexpected events taking place in Greenwich, involving various kind of ships or movie filming:
Then there are all the special shops (with special people I now call friends) we found in (or around) the Market, like Arty Globe, Lush Designs, or Corkville:
…the great cafes, restaurants and pubs: The Galley, Paul Rhodes, Baba Cafe, The Yacht, Cutty Sark Pub, Gipsy Moth, Trafalgar Tavern, Efe’s, and so many others…
And to top it all, I found here amazing artist communities, one of them being the Second Floor Studios, where I now have a studio that allows me to indulge in my hobby
as well as meet so many talented people doing so many different things!
So, our time here has been pretty special and I do hope it will continue to be the same over the coming years!
